MISSION STATEMENT
The LGBTQ+ Center (formerly known as GIESORC) serves and supports LGBTQ+ students, faculty, staff, and alumnx throughout the Washington State University system by providing resources, fostering community building, and relevant initiatives. Additionally, we promote academic and personal growth, learning, and development for students.
While we foreground the needs of LGBTQ+ students, staff, faculty, and alumnx we serve the entire Washington State University system through training, consultation, advocacy, and coalition building to advance access and equity throughout the institution

Lavender Graduation
Lavender Graduation is an annual celebration of all the LGBTQ+ graduates and their allies.

UndocuQueer
The UndocuQueer Conference is a joint effort between the LGBTQ+ Center, Undocumented Initiatives, and the Crimson Group to illuminate issues in the intersections of undocumented immigrants and the LGBTQ+ community. More information can be found at the UndocuQueer Conference website here.
Mentoring
The LGBTQ+ Center participates in a mentoring program for first-year students to WSU who want to connect with other first-year students. If you are interested in having a mentor for fall 2021, please sign up.
